Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Yewuge (operating at yewuge.info, address: Nerudova 206/44, Hradec Králové, Czech Republic; contact: [email protected]) collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data. We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (the General Data Protection Regulation, "GDPR") and Act No. 110/2019 Coll. on personal data processing as applicable in the Czech Republic.

Who we are

Yewuge operates as the data controller for personal data collected through yewuge.info. We provide a training program for non-technical managers focused on software vendor proposal evaluation. Our services are informational and educational in nature. If you have questions about how we handle personal data, you can contact us at [email protected] or by post at the address above.

What data we collect and why

We collect personal data only when you actively provide it to us. The primary way this happens is through our contact form, where we ask for your name and email address so we can respond to your enquiry. We also collect the content of your message. We do not ask for sensitive personal data categories as defined under Article 9 of the GDPR.

When you visit yewuge.info, our web hosting provider may automatically log technical information including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, and pages visited. This information is used for security and basic site operation and is not used to identify you personally.

If you have consented to analytics or marketing cookies, we may collect additional usage data through those tools. You can manage these preferences at any time using the cookie settings icon on our site.

Legal basis for processing

We rely on the following legal bases under Article 6 of the GDPR:

Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)): Processing server logs for security and site operation represents a legitimate interest that does not override your fundamental rights.

Consent (Article 6(1)(a)): Where you submit a contact form, you explicitly indicate consent by checking the privacy acknowledgement checkbox. Where you accept analytics or marketing cookies, we process data based on your freely given consent. You may withdraw consent at any time without consequence.

Legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)): We may process or retain data where required by applicable Czech or European Union law.

How long we keep your data

Contact enquiry data is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to and follow up on your enquiry, and in any case no longer than 24 months from the date of your last contact with us. Server log data is typically retained for up to 90 days. Cookie-related data is retained according to the individual cookie lifetime described in our Cookie Policy. If you request deletion of your data, we will act on that request promptly as described in the Your Rights section below.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may engage service providers who process data on our behalf as data processors, including web hosting providers and email service providers. Any such processors are bound by data processing agreements and may not use your data for their own purposes. Where processors are located outside the European Economic Area, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with Chapter V of the GDPR.

Cookies and tracking

Our site uses cookies. Essential cookies are necessary for the site to function and are placed without requiring consent. Analytics and marketing cookies are placed only with your consent. Full details of the cookies we use, their purpose, and their retention period are set out in our Cookie Policy. You can withdraw or adjust your cookie consent at any time using the shield icon in the bottom-right corner of the site.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

Rectification: You may ask us to correct inaccurate data or complete incomplete data.

Erasure: You may request deletion of your personal data where there is no overriding legal basis for us to retain it.

Restriction: You may ask us to restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances.

Portability: Where processing is based on consent or contract and carried out by automated means, you may request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

Objection: You may object to processing based on legitimate interest. We will cease processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests.

Withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within one month as required by Article 12 of the GDPR. If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech supervisory authority, the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, uoou.cz).

Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. Our website is served over HTTPS. Access to stored contact data is restricted to personnel with a legitimate need. We periodically review our security measures in light of evolving risks.

Children

Our services are directed at professional managers and are not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of yewuge.info after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
